ARRIVE EARLY

Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to set up (15-20 minutes if you are a new participant).  We respect your busy schedule and classes start on time.

CELL PHONES, IPODS, HEADPHONES.

We practice good class etiquette - no texting or phone use during class. Please leave your phone, iPod or headphones in the locker until the class is over. There is no exception to this rule.  If you are on call or otherwise waiting for an important call, talk with our front desk staff, who can notify you if a call comes in when you are in class.

CROSS TALK

We're all in class for different reasons, so respect the individual beside you. Chatting during class can hinder your neighbors' concentration.

FOLLOW THE PACK

Instructors work hard to plan your classes. You are always welcome to back out of a pose, drop back in the saddle in position 1, or otherwise not participate in an activity if it doesn’t resonate with your body today.  However, if you must "do your own thing" the majority of the time, please take a spot in the back of the class.

HYDRATION

Water is important, and you cannot perform without adequate hydration. Sports drinks are not encouraged, unless you are doubling up on classes and need extra electrolytes to power through (and we love doubling up at Joule!)

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

Help us keep our equipment in top shape!  Let a staff member know if there are any problems with equipment.

HOUSEKEEPING

If you move it, put it back. If you bring it, take it home. If you drip on it, wipe it off. Help us keep the sanctuary a sanctuary.

GOOD HYGIENE

Be kind to your fellow classmates. Deodorant and clean gear are blissful things. Save your perfume for after the class.

LEAVING EARLY

We understand once in a while you must slip out early, so take a spot near the door and leave quietly.

APPRECIATION

THANK YOU are two words instructors love to hear! Spread the love and show appreciation to keep our program strong. Joule Studios thanks YOU for everything you bring to our community!
